Students of the University of Alicante, the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, University of Amsterdam and the Beuth Hochschule für Technik Berlin, University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, are working on the development of projects for the seventh edition of the "Healthy Housing" awards that will be given on May at a ceremony taking place at the Museum of the University of Alicante.

Participants must design a house on a plot of 800 square meters with healthy standards, comprising design, natural environment, materials and technology used.

According to the contest rules, students must team in groups of at least two members, one of whom must be necessarily an Architecture student, also, the collaboration of a Technical Architecture student or other qualifications such as Computer Science, Telecommunications, and so on, will be appreciated.

The designs must reflect specific aspects related to energy efficiency, water use, and home automation – taking into account sustainability and healthcare- and show their adaptability and flexibility. The concept of healthy habitability towards the accessibility of the house will be positively valued.
